Chennai, Dec. 5 -- In yet another fillip to industrial development, Tamil Nadu Chief MinisterM K Stalin today inaugurated US-based Corning's new electronic equipment manufcturingfacility at Kancheepuram SIPCOT Park which was set up with an investment of Rs 1,003 crores.
The new facility would offers obs to 840 people.
The new facility set up by Bharat Innovative Glass Technologies (BIG TECH), is the joint initiative of Corning InternationalCorporation Limited and India's Optiemus Infracomm Limited.
