Chennai, April 17 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Thursday inaugurated Sify's Data Center campus at Siruseri set up with an investment of Rs 1,882 crore offering jobs to 1,000 people.
This is South India's largest AI-ready data center campus set up at SIPCOT IT Park, at Siruseri, Egattur in neighbouring Chengalpattu district.
It is also India's largest AI-ready, IGBC Platinum rated Green Data Center campus in South Chennai Chennai 02 Siruseri.
An official release said Sify Technologies has planned to scale up its investments up to Rs 13,000 crore by 2027.
It said the MoU for this Data centre was signed during the Global Investors Meet held in Chennai in January 2024.
