Chennai, Nov. 26 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin today took part in an officialfunction in the Western Erode district and launched various completed projects, laidfoundation stones for new ones and dstributed various welfre measures to the beneficaries.
Mr.Stalin arrived in Erode by road after inaugurarting the 'TN Rising Investors Conclave' inCoimbatore last evening in which 158 MoUs attracting investments to the tune of aboutRs 44,000 crore were signed in his presence.
He began his events in Erode by inaugurating a memorial hall witha statue of freedomfighter Maaveeran Pollan in Modakkurichi taluk and later paid floral tributes at thememorial of freedom fighter Theeran Chinnamalai.
