Chennai, Feb. 6 -- In a big boost to industrial development, Tamil Nadu Chief MinisterM K Stalin on Friday inaugurated the Mitsubishi Electric India Private Limited's Room AirConditioners and Compressors manufacturing facility set up with an investment ofRs 2,091 crore.
The facility, which would provide jobs to 2,104 people, was established at Gummidipoondiin adjoining Tiruvallur district.
Mr Stalin inaugurated it through video conferencing from the State Secretariat at an eventorganised by the Investment Promtion and Trade department, with Industries MinisterTRB Raaja andother senior company officials present at the factory premises.
