Chennai, Sept. 22 -- The teeming megapolis of Chennai became the first city in India with a journey planner to have integrated ticketing system for all modes of transport.

In a major leap forward, enhancing connectivity and streamlining urban mobility, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin today launched the mobile application 'Chennai One' providing an integrated ticketing QR code system for all modes of transport - buses, Metro Rail and suburban trains.

Hailed as the first in the country to make this a reality, the app, doubling up as a journey planner, offers a seamless commuting experience for travellers in the city.
