Chennai, Jan. 9 -- Coming to the defence of actor-politician and TVK Founder Vijay onthe row over getting censor certificate for his swansong film 'Jananayagan' which could nothit the screens due to a legal wrangle, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK PresidentM K Stalin tonight said the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has become the newweapon of the BJP Government at the Centre.
He also strongly condemned the CBFC for the delay in granting censor certificate to Vijay'sFilm and said on the lines of CBI, ED and IT, the Censor Board has also become the newweapon of the BJP government.
In post on X, Mr Stalin said "after CBI, ED, IT, the Censor Board has also become a newweapon of the BJP government... Strong condemnations!".
