Chennai, Oct. 6 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin today announced a Diwali bonus of up to 20 per cent and exgratia for employees of public sector undertakings (PSUs) across the State for the year 2024-25.
This announcement would in all benefit 2,69,439 eligible employees and workers of the State-run PSUs and the State governmentwould incur an expednituire of Rs 376.01 crore as it has relaxed the norms under the Payment of Bonus (Amendment) Act, 2015.
An official release here said Group C' and 'D' category workers in profit making PSUs will receive up to 20 per cent comprising8.33 per cent bonus and an ex-gratia of 11.67 per cent benefitting those working in TANGEDCO, State Transport Corporations andthe Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corpo...
