Chennai, Aug. 20 -- More than two to three lakh cadres were expected to attend the
second State conference of actor-politician Vijay's Tamila Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) at
Parapathi village in Madurai district of Tamil Nadu tomorrow.
The stage is set for the massive conference being held in the context of Assembly elections
which was about 8-9 months away.
At the conference, the TVK Founder, who had already dubbed the ruling DMK and the BJP as
his party's political adversaries, was expected to further chart out the party's course of action
for the crucial elections in which Vijay had already openly stated that his party was ready for
alliance and for a share in power, a concept never witnessed in the annals of Tamil Nadu
politics.
