Mumbai, Nov. 26 -- The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has launched a dedicated helpline to address travel-related issues faced by school and college students.

Students can register complaints about delayed buses, cancellations or unavailability of services by calling the toll-free number 1800 221 251. Transport Minister and MSRTC Chairman Pratap Saranaik announced the initiative on Wednesday.

Saranaik said lakhs of students rely on ST buses for daily travel. The government currently offers a 66.66 per cent concession on monthly passes for students, while girl students up to Class 12 receive free monthly passes under the Panishlok Ahlia Bai Holkar Yojana.
