Chennai, Jan. 30 -- The Chennai-based Sringeri Sharada Equitas (SSE) hospital has launched Microwave Ablation treatment for treating and curing cancer patients at an affordable cost.
A SSE hospital release here on Thursday said microwave ablation uses microwave energy for
generating heat to kill, shrink cancerous tumor cells in organs such as kidney, lungs and liver.
A team of Interventional Radiologists and Oncologists place a small microwave antenna inside
a tumor to slow down the progression of tumor growth and shrink them so that they can be safely
