Kolkata, Nov. 17 -- The School Service Commission examination has once again been embroiled in a legal controversy after a group of aspiring teachers moved the Calcutta High Court, alleging major irregularities in the interview shortlist for the recruitment of teachers for Classes XI and XII.
A group of candidates filed a petition before the High Court today, claiming that the list published by the School Service Commission (SSC) contains the names of several "disqualified and ineligible" candidates who should not have been considered under Supreme Court guidelines.
