Chennai, Oct. 10 -- The Chennai Division of the Southern Railway today issued a stern warning againstunauthorised pasting of posters and banners at trains and in railway premises and said action would betaken against the offenders as it was a punishable offence under the Railways Act.
A Southern Railway release here said it has been observed that unauthorized posters, banners, stickers andadvertisements are being pasted on railway property across various locations within Chennai Division,including station premises, platforms, ticket counters, walls, coaches and train interiors.
