Chennai, Sept. 16 -- The Chennai Division of Southern Railway hasachieved a milestone by successfully flagging off the first rake of ElectricAuto rickshaws from Tada to Rangapani Railway Station, Katihar Divisonin North Frontier Railway.
The E-autos were manufactured by M/s Montra Electric of MurugappaGroup.
The first consignment moved in 25 NMG wagons, was facilitated byM/s. IP Integrated Services Pvt. Ltd as the logistics partner.
It was flagged off from Tada Railway Station (Andhra Pradesh) lastevening in the presence of senior Railway officials, a Southern Railwayrelease said here today.
