Mumbai, July 8 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today told the Bombay High Court that it will complete its investigation against former Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede, which is linked to alleged demands of a Rs 25-crore bribe from Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan during the investigation into the Cordelia cruise drug case, in which the actor's son Aryan Khan was arrested.

The central agency assured the court during the hearing of Wankhede's petition seeking to quash the first information report (FIR) registered against him by the CBI for alleged demands of bribe from Shah Rukh Khan.
