Srinagar, Nov. 7 -- Srinagar recorded the coldest night of the season as the mercury dipped to 0.2degC, while most parts of Jammu and Kashmir continued to record below-normal night temperatures, with the Valley witnessing a fall of 1-3degC below the seasonal average.
The recent snowfall in upper reaches of Kashmir has caused a noticeable dip in temperatures across valley. Several places recorded sub-zero conditions.
The hill resort of Pahalgam in Anantnag district was the coldest place in Kashmir at -3.0degC.
Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, recorded a minimum temperature of 0.2degC- the coldest night of the season so far. The temperature was 1.7degC below the normal of 1.9degC.
