Srinagar, May 1 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday said it conducted searches at the residences of 21 militant associates In connection with Investigation of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
A Srinagar police spokesperson said in its continuing persistent action against terrorist associates of proscribed militant outfits and in the furtherance of investigation into cases registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), it has intensified searches across multiple locations in the city with the aim to dismantle terror-supporting infrastructure in the district.
