Ahmedabad, Sept. 23 -- Indian double Olympian Srihari Nataraj, renowned as the nation's leading backstroker, is set to feature at the Asian Aquatic Championship slated to be held at the newly constructed Veer Savarkar Sports Complex in Ahmedabad, from September 28 to October 11.
This season, the 24-year-old swimmer has shifted focus to freestyle events, targeting the100m and 200m distances after consistently improving his timing over the years.
Nataraj's decision to prioritise freestyle has already borne fruit. At the 2025 FISU Summer World University Games, he set new Best Indian Times in both events.
