Hyderabad, March 27 -- On the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami, Hyderabad witnessed a grand and spiritually uplifting procession of Lord Sri Rama on Friday.

Earlier in the day, Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla performed special pujas at the historic Sitaram Bagh Temple. The temple priests accorded him a traditional welcome and offered Vedic blessings.

The vibrant procession, organised by the Bhagyanagar Sri Rama Navami Utsava Samithi, commenced from the historic Sitaram Bagh Temple and is proceeding towards Kothi Hanuman Vyayamshala, covering a distance of about 6.2 kilometres.
