Sri Ram Sena activists tied to tree, thrashed
Belagavi, June 30 -- A shocking incident has emerged from Ingali village in the Hukkeri taluk of Karnataka's Belagavi district, where five members of the Sriram Sena (SRS) were allegedly tied to a tree and brutally assaulted. A video of the incident went viral on social media, sparking outrage and political uproar across the state.
According to reports, the incident occurred when Sriram Sena activists intercepted individuals transporting cows from a local cowshed and questioned them, suspecting the cattle were being taken for slaughter. However, it was later reported that the cows were being transported for animal husbandry purposes.
