Colombo, July 2 -- Sri Lanka kicked off their ODI series against Bangladesh with a commanding 77-run victory at the R Premadasa Stadium here today, with skipper Charith Asalanka leading the charge with a match-winning 106. Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Sri Lanka posted a competitive 244 all out in 49.2 overs. Asalanka anchored the innings with a responsible 106 off 123 balls, striking six boundaries and two sixes. Kusal Mendis added 45 while Janith Liyanage contributed 29 to steady the middle order.
