Puri, Dec. 27 -- The Sri Jagannath temple administration directed the temple supervisor to file a complaint against the servitor of Nishanrusingh temple in the Simhadwar police station.
The direction came after a woman devotee complained to the temple administration that on December 24 evening, while she visited the Nishanrusingh temple, a young servitor there allegedly molested her.
The administration conducted a preliminary inquiry and found that the original servitor of the Nishanrusingh temple had deputed another man to perform his service, who had allegedly committed the crime. The temple is situated within the premises of the Sri Jagannath temple.
