Chennai, April 25 -- Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins won the toss and elected to field against Chennai Super Kings in their crucial IPL fixture here on Friday, citing pitch conditions and a fresh venue as motivating factors.
"Chennai is always a big game. We're coming off a couple of losses, but it's a new venue and the boys are up for it," Cummins said at the toss. "The pitch looks a little bit dry, but we're backing our batsmen to get a big total if needed, and otherwise, we have full faith in our bowling unit."
