Shimla, Dec. 12 -- Tension within the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd (HPSEBL) is brewing after the Joint Action Committee (JAC) levelled serious allegations against senior management, accusing them of misusing board resources while unfairly targeting junior employees through disciplinary proceedings.
JAC Convenor Hira Lal alleged that senior officers of the board extended undue favours to IAS officer Anurag Chandera by providing free accommodation in the HPSEBL guest house, authorising the use of a board vehicle, and subsequently manipulating logbook entries to shield those responsible.
