Lucknow, Oct. 3 -- A major road accident occurred this morning in the Mahanagar area of Lucknow.
A speeding Fortuner SUV collided violently with a school van belonging to Mount Carmel school near the Shalimar Gallant crossing. Two schoolgirls sustained injuries in the accident, along with the van driver, Pawan Kumar.
All the injured were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.
According to eyewitnesses, following the crash, the occupants of the Fortuner allegedly assaulted the van driver. The children inside the van were left terrified, with many screaming in panic.
