Basmat (Hingoli), Feb. 26 -- A serious road accident claimed one life and left four others critically injured on the Vasmat-Asegaon-Nanded route near Takalgaon on Thursday afternoon.
The mishap occurred when a speeding car travelling from Basmat towards Nanded went out of control and overturned by the roadside. All the occupants of the vehicle were residents of the Vijaynagar area in Nanded.
According to available information, the driver lost control of the vehicle in the Takalgaon area while heading towards Nanded. The car veered off the road and turned turtle. The impact of the crash was so severe that the vehicle was completely mangled. Ashish Bhaskare (45), a resident of Vijaynagar in Nanded, died on the spot in the accident.
