Mathura, Nov. 24 -- A speeding AC sleeper bus overturned on the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura, leaving 20 passengers injured, including three in critical condition. The critically injured have been referred to SN Medical College in Agra for advanced treatment. The bus, carrying 35 passengers, was traveling from Delhi to Raebareli, police said on Monday.

The accident occurred around 1:15 am on Monday in the Baldev police station area. According to officials, the bus was moving at such high speed that it skidded along the road for several meters even after overturning. By the time police reached the spot, approximately 25 minutes after the incident, many passengers were trapped inside the vehicle, crying for help.
