Mumbai, Sept. 27 -- The Department of Women and Child Development, in collaboration with Mumbai Bank, has announced a special initiative to help beneficiaries of the 'Ladki Bahin' scheme become financially self-reliant.
Under the scheme, women can secure interest-free loans ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 1 lakh to start their own businesses.
Eligibility is restricted to women registered under the 'Ladki Bahin' scheme who receive their monthly honorarium of Rs 1,500 through Mumbai Bank accounts.
