Dharamshala, Jan. 16 -- A review meeting under National Road Safety Month was held on Thursday at the NIC auditorium of the Deputy Commissioner's office, focusing on achieving the target of zero road fatalities.
The meeting was chaired by Additional Chief Secretary (Transport) R.D. Nazim via video conferencing from Shimla.
Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa stated that a data-driven strategy was being implemented, with comprehensive accident data being collected through the i-Ride application and audits conducted for every road accident.
He said structural deficiencies at accident sites were being identified and shared with concerned agencies for timely corrective measures.
