Mumbai, March 3 -- In a major relief effort for Maharashtrian citizens stranded in the UAE due to escalating tensions involving Iran, Israel and the United States, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has arranged special flights for their safe return.
Large parts of Middle East airspace were shut following the conflict, leaving several citizens from Maharashtra stranded in Dubai and other parts of the United Arab Emirates.
Responding to the crisis, Shinde coordinated with the concerned authorities to facilitate their evacuation.
