Una, Sept. 20 -- Special arrangements will be in place at the Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple from September 22 to October 1 for the convenience of devotees and to maintain law and order during the Ashwin Navratri Fair.

District Magistrate Jatin Lal today issued orders under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS), prohibiting the carrying of weapons by anyone except those deployed for law and order duties during the fair.

He stated that in order to prevent noise pollution during Navratri, the use of loudspeakers by anyone other than the temple trust will be strictly prohibited.
