Mumbai, March 20 -- The Maharashtra Compromise of Arrears of Tax, Interest, Penalty or Late Charges (Payable by Public Sector Undertaking Companies) Bill, 2025 was introduced in the Legislative Assembly on Thursday by Deputy Chief and Finance Minister Ajit Pawar. Through this bill, the government has introduced a special Abhay Yojana for Public Sector Undertaking Companies. The settlement of arrears will be expedited through this scheme. Due to this, due revenue will be collected in the government treasury and funds will be available for development works.
