Hyderabad, Dec. 16 -- Telangana Minister for Information Technology and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu on Monday said legendary singer S P Balasubrahmanyam (SPB) had left an indelible and enduring imprint on the history of Indian film music.
Speaking at the unveiling of SPB's statue at Ravindra Bharathi, organised by The Music Group Hyderabad, the Minister said SPB was an artiste who transcended linguistic and cultural boundaries. He recalled that SPB had rendered over 40,000 songs in 14 Indian languages, underlining the universal appeal of music.
