Singapore, July 24 -- Felipe Perrone capped off a storied international career by inspiring Spain
to a 15-13 victory over Hungary in the men's water polo final at the World Aquatics Championships here today.
Perrone, the oldest player in the competition, was playing in his 14th and final world championships.
The 39-year-old veteran, who has represented both Spain and Brazil over a career spanning two decades and five Olympic Games, scored two goals in the final, including the decisive one with just 18 seconds remaining.
