Lucknow, Aug. 4 -- The Samajwadi Party (SP) today accused the Yogi Adityanath-led government of deliberately limiting the upcoming Assembly's Monsoon Session, saying it is an attempt to avoid addressing key public concerns.
SP MLA from Sardhana, Atul Pradhan, criticized the government for planning only a four-day session despite Uttar Pradesh having 403 constituencies. He said people and their elected representatives and they look forward to Assembly meetings to discuss pressing issues, but the current BJP administration seems unwilling to provide that platform.
Pradhan also questioned the inclusion of August 15 (Independence Day) and August 16 (Janmashtami) in the official schedule, claiming it was done only to make the session appear ...
