Rampur, Dec. 18 -- A special MP/MLA court acquitted Samajwadi Party leader Mohammad Azam Khan in a case linked to making derogatory remarks against officials on Thursday. The acquittal came as the prosecution failed to prove the charges.
The case was related to an inflammatory speech, which was registered by Aam Aadmi Party state spokesperson Faisal Khan Lala at Sadar Kotwali on April 2, 2019. At that time, Azam Khan was a Lok Sabha election candidate for the first time.
