Lucknow, Feb. 18 -- Samajwadi Party (SP) members on Tuesday created a ruckus during Governor Anandiben Patel's address to the joint session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislature on the first day of the budget session.
As soon as the address of the Governor started in the assembly, the SP MLAs stood up from their seats and started raising anti-government slogans. Speaker Satish Mahana urged the members to listen to the address citing the dignity of the House, but they kept raising slogans.
The SP members, who even stormed into the well of the house shouted slogans of 'Governor go back' and 'stop delivering false statement'. Amidst ruckus by the SP legislators, the Governor read out a portion of her address.
