Hardoi, March 28 -- A major controversy erupted in UP's Hardoi district after a video allegedly showing Samajwadi Party (SP) state secretary Yadunandan Lal Verma making objectionable remarks about Lord Rama, Mata Kaushalya, and Hindu religious texts went viral on social media, officials said on Saturday.
According to reports, the video is said to be from a public gathering in the Harpalpur area, Hardoi. Although the exact date of the video has not yet been confirmed, its circulation triggered widespread outrage among Hindu groups, leading to protests across the district.
