SP chief slams dominant castes for insulting a 'PDA' katha vachak

Lucknow, June 24 -- Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has slammed dominant castes for thrashing a 'katha vachak' or religious preacher in Etawah as he was not a Brahmin.

"These people want to maintain their monopoly in religious matters. If people of all castes can hear the Bhagwat katha then why can't they hear it from other castes? If a true Krishna devotee will be stopped from telling the Bhagwat Katha, it will be an insult to the society," he claimed.
