New Delhi, Dec. 21 -- Samajwadi party chief and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has launched a passionate appeal to Delhi residents to join the "Save Aravalli" campaign, warning that the destruction of the Aravalli range will have catastrophic consequences for the city's environment, economy, and quality of life.

"The Aravalli range is Delhi's natural security shield, its ecological lifeline," Yadav said.
