Lucknow, Dec. 10 -- Samajwadi Party has submitted a memorandum to Uttar Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer(CEO) alleging serious irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in the state, particularly in Ghaziabad.
The party has demanded immediate investigation and improvement in Ghaziabad assembly constituency, where 2,47,364 people or 83 per cent voters have been placed in category "C" by the BLOs.
On the instructions of the party's national president and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, in the memorandum given by the state president Shyam Lal Pal on Wednesday, it has been alleged that the concerned voters have made the necessary details available to the BLO properly on the basis of the voter list of the year 2003.
