Pune, July 5 -- The Southwest Monsoon has been vigorous over east Madhya Pradesh and active over west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat Region and Saurashtrand Kutch, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said today.
It has been subdued over Bihar, Punjab, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Arunachal Pradesh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, east Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, Konkan and Goa and coastal Karnataka.
These have occurred at many places in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, west Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat region
and Kerala.
