Amaravati, May 19 -- The Southwest Monsoon advanced further on Monday over additional parts of the south Arabian Sea, the Maldives and Comorin area, the south and central Bay of Bengal, and parts of the northeast Bay of Bengal, according to the Meteorological Centre.
In its daily weather report, the Centre stated that conditions remain favourable for the further advancement of the monsoon over more areas of the south Arabian Sea, the remaining parts of the Maldives and Comorin area, and further parts of the south, central, and northeast Bay of Bengal during the next 2-3 days.
