Hyderabad, April 23 -- The Telangana Police on Wednesday hosted the Regional Quarterly Meeting of the Southern State DGsP Coordination Conference, bringing together senior police officials from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Puducherry to strengthen inter-state cooperation on cybercrime and cybersecurity.
Presided over by Jitender, DGP of Telangana, the conference focused on a range of cybercrime-related challenges including inter-state coordination, legal gaps, procedural delays, and the misuse of cryptocurrency.
Officials emphasised the need for international cooperation, coordination with banks and telecom providers, and public awareness to improve cyber resilience.
