Benoni, April 28 -- South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt has declared her side's 4-1 series victory over India was the perfect preparation for the upcoming ICC Women's T20 World Cup.

The Proteas put their name forward as one of the teams to beat at the 10th edition of the T20World Cup with an impressive showing on home soil against India, with Wolvaardt leading the way yet again with a stylish half-century as South Africa registered a 23-run win over India inthe series finale here on Monday.

The series at home was South Africa's final competitive hitout before the T20 World Cup commences in England and Wales on June 12 and Wolvaardt believes her side is wellplaced to claim a first title.
