Kolkata, Sept. 14 -- Indian cricket legend Sourav Ganguly is set to lead the Cricket Association of Bengal again, being the sole candidate to file his nomination for the president's post today before the expiry of the deadline.
The elections are slated for September 22 when the CAB's annual general meeting is scheduled to be held at the Eden Gardens.
Ganguly is poised to replace his elder brother Snehasish Ganguly whose term as CAB president ended this year. Ganguly had earlier served as CAB chief from 2015 to 2019. Later, he also became BCCI president in 2019 and continued in the post till 2022.
