Kolkata, Oct. 18 -- Unauthorised use of former India captain Sourav Ganguly's image, likeness, or any material associated with him without prior written consent is strictly prohibited, as per a media statement issued by Sourav Ganguly's office.
"Such unauthorised use constitutes a violation of his (Ganguly) personality and publicity rights," said the statement issued by the Cricket Association of Board president's office.
The media statement was issued yesterday after a sports magazine in its September issue printed pictures of many top sportspersons, including that of Cricket Association of Bengal President Sourav Ganguly on the front page.
