Ranchi, April 29 -- Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday directed officials to strengthen research, innovation and technology-driven education while chairing a meeting of the Jharkhand Science, Technology and Innovation Council.
The meeting of the council's general body was held at the state secretariat under the higher and technical education department.
Soren said the state had adequate talent and resources and stressed the need to provide institutional support and appropriate platforms to promote innovation-based development.
He asked officials to prepare a result-oriented action plan to promote research, startups and innovation in higher and technical institutions.
