Ranchi, Dec. 5 -- Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday projected Jharkhand as a national centre of tribal identity and empowerment while addressing tribal representatives from more than ten states at the Chief Minister's residential complex here.
The gathering, which drew delegates from Gujarat, Maharashtra, Assam, West Bengal, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Manipur, marked one of the largest recent interstate tribal interactions hosted in the state.
Soren welcomed the delegates and said the soil of Jharkhand has always carried the strength of courage, dignity and struggle.
