Los Angeles, Dec. 2 -- Japanese-born-English actress Sonoya Mizuno is set to broaden her creative repertoire as she steps into the director's chair for a forthcoming feature, "Stages".
The film is developed in collaboration with Film4 and A24. While the storyline remains closely guarded, the film is understood to draw inspiration from Mizuno's extensive background in classical dance.
Mizuno trained at the Royal Ballet School in London. She then danced in several ballet companies, including the English National Ballet, Dresden Semper Oper Ballet, and Scottish Ballet.
