Dumka, Oct. 29 -- An incident of patricide took place in Bishanpur village, Bodwa Tola, under Saraiyahat police station area of Dumka district, where a man allegedly killed his father with an axe on Wednesday evening while under the influence of alcohol.
According to police sources, the deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Tutiram Hansda, while the accused, Jitan Hansda, Tutiram's son, has been arrested for the crime.
Police said that on Wednesday evening, Jitan returned home heavily intoxicated and got into a heated argument with his father.
